Anora (Sean Baker, October 18, 2024) Movie

He is one of the best new directors around. Three really fascinating, moving films.

 

I’ve unfortunately only seen The Florida Project so far, which rules.

 

I would be fascinated to see his pre-Tangerine films. I know Take Out has a criterion.

Florida Project is def my favorite so far. Very excited for this

 

Never heard of any of this, but Florida Project looks good.

Tangerine looks good too

 

Both are very good

 

Red Rocket also very good

 

Very excited for this. I adore his last three films.

Trailer is playing before Longlegs this weekend too

 

Redband Trailer played before Longlegs and it looks phenomenal. Definitely looks like it could be Baker’s most cohesive film too

 

Saw the trailer for the first time in front of Longlegs. This looks amazing

 

Yeah this was not on my radar til the trailer tonight, I’m all in now. Excited to see Madison spread her wings here

 

First heard of this due to the trailer before Longlegs, all in for it now.

 

Fuck I can’t wait. I have a feeling this is going to be his masterpiece.
