Was anyone in here a Porter fan pre-Worlds? Last thing I’ve been able to get into of his was Shelter w/Madeon.

The last record was absolutely not my vibe, and the live set at Bonnaroo in support felt really off being on a EDM stage at 1am. His live vocals were roughhhhh.

Always hoping he’ll go back to a sound similar to what he was exploring on Language, it’s still the tune that gets the biggest response in his live sets.

 

Yup, I saw him open for Skrillex before he even released his first EP and I think it was his first tour also. He hasn’t put out a single thing that I don’t love.

 

yep, think I saw that same tour. Glad he’s making music he loves even if it isn’t for me anymore.

wouldn’t mind Virtual Self returning.

 

I would absolutely love more Virtual Self or to see him tour as VS or Air2Earth (or at least just play in Philly lol)

 

I forgot about air2earth…those sets sounded gorgeous. I think I’m just a sucker for him being behind the decks a bit more.
