Superheaven Band

Realizing there’s no thread for this band and figured we may as well have one since activity has seemed to be picking back up in the last year. I can convert to an album thread in the future if anything comes up, but in the meantime it’d be nice to have a central place to share news, show announcements, merch drops etc.

 

This lineup is bananas. Jealous of anyone that can make it

 

Love Superheaven. Didn't know about any movement in their camp but that is super exciting if so!

 

Jar is the best RFC release of the emo revival era.

Band rocks, Webbed Wing rocks too. Jake also has a new band that just dropped a demo, forgot the name though.

 

Damn I always forget about Webbed Wing. Those few songs from last year especially were real good

that EP last year was so good. Also thought the Clever Hour demo was great. Taylor hinted that they've been recording as well so I think we should be getting more new Webbed Wing pretty soon.

ours is chrome hasn’t grabbed me yet

 

I was really disappointed with Ours is Chrome when it dropped, but it’s grown on me a ton the past few years. “Poor Aileen” is one of my favorite tracks

 

Repeating myself from the Will Yip thread, but Leach is really that track

 

So happy the band is blowing up now. Saw them play to many empty rooms back around 2013-2015.

Downswing is a frickin jam

 

I saw them play at The Barbary with O’Brother in 2013 and I was surprised how dead the crowd was for them considering it was a hometown show. They sounded great though and O’Brother was otherworldly.

oh shit I keep up with the dudes and new Superheaven was not on my bingo card. Sounded like potato quality but cant wait!

 

Its called Long Gone btw, its on youtube if you can take a trip to NZ. Definitely a little different for them which is nice but still distinctly Superheaven. Slower track with some nice chunky guitars. Taylor sounds really good too. Definitely stays in it's lane and doesn't wander into what they do with Webbed Wing.
