Not gonna be able to take the time to watch this for a few days but it's getting great reviews so I'm excited
Critic and Audience ratings seem to be vastly different. 91% on RT (critics) 62% audience 6.5 on IMDB (which is low for a TV show but not a ton of votes)
Two eps in and loving it. Was not sure what to expect since it’s a spin on a pretty mainstream movie but it definitely has that “created by Donald Glover” feel/off-kilterness to it. I like that it’s taking the Poker Face route of doing a case/mission of the week structure (at least so far) while still telling an overarching story. Makes it actually feel like TV instead of a long movie. Which is a good thing!
Why find out who the real agent Argylle is when you can stay home with Mr & Mrs smith this weekend I’m a movie guy but sometimes tv can be real good too
The best thing about this so far (on E2) was watching my wife's reaction to the scene where they break the dude's bones in the tub.
it’s definitely a spy show but honestly more of a study on their relationship with the spy genre being the setting.
Watched the first two episodes and not sure how I feel. I’ll probably finish the season but I feel like the “not good at being spies” thing works best if it’s 100% comedy or very intense and this isn’t either of those. I’m also admittedly annoyed that this is branded as Mr & Mrs Smith when it ultimately has nothing to do with the movie. This should’ve been allowed to stand on its own without needing the reboot/revival stamp
