Ya unholy would be such an awesome win. Grammy award winning artist Kim Petras has a great ring to it. Otherwise nothing shocking (booo Chris Brown and Louis CK though). If the grammys want to prove that rock is not dead, then for the love of god Turnstile better win some of these (or even IDLES). But so bizarre to put them in every song category but not album. Suppose that Best New Artist will go to Latto? But it'd be cool to see Omar Apollo or Wet Leg get it and I wouldn't be mad about Anitta. It's gonna be soooo boring when Adele wins album of the year.
What a painfully boring batch of nominees. Cool to see Turnstile get 3 nominations though. Also would've thought Unholy would get nominated in more categories. I have a feeling this is the year Beyonce finally gets her AOTY award. Adele and Lizzo put out two of the most bland albums I've heard in a long time, so I'll riot if either of those win.
Kendrick deserves all these nominations, but very odd The Heart Part 5 is the song that is getting all the attention.
How did Turnstile get nominated this year and not last year? The eligibility period opened in October 2021 and the album came out in August.
How is Renaissance considered a dance album? Love the record, but it’s clearly pop music. Also, how is Holiday a rock song and Blackout a metal song? Good for Turnstile but these awards are such a joke now.
