Just noting that according to the press release Will is now going by "William von Ghould". Because of course.

Album is produced by Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Royal Blood) who also did Ghost Brigade. Which tracks.

 

This band always has like a 9 month rollout for some reason

Yeah this rules. I love how you truly never know what you’re gonna get with this band.

 

Single is amazing, I actually had the thought that it sounds like a Ghost song so interesting they're working with one of their producers haha

Wish the wait wasn't so long but I respect that they're waiting that long for Friday the 13th

 

Love the cover but don't really like the song. I always want to like this band but I just don't think I do.

 

I was okay with this song when I heard it, but it sounded so good at Slam Dunk festival yesterday. Really hits live.

 

The new look is leather jackets with the new logo on the side. Will came out in shades, as did the touring rhythm guitarist who doesn't get a jacket (Ollie? Guy from St Vincent) Cry to Heaven slaps live. EDIT: Lawrie.

Hearing both Ghost Brigade and Cry to Heaven in the same set made me realise they repeat a decent amount lyrically.

 

The new song has grown on me a lot with repeat listens

 

He does seem to like talking about black clothes and pale skin, using various adjectives for black and pale of course.

And virgin snow.

 

Creeper drinking game:

Pretty sure if anyone played this game, Creeper would get arrested and charged with murder just based on "Cry to Heaven" alone lol

 

This is exactly how I feel, I've tried so many times to get into them but it just doesn't click with me
