The Fucked Up Foods Thread

so there's an array of fucked up food creations out there, many of which people love. just today in the Your Controversial Food Opinions Thread a user (my dear friend Orla) tried one of these said fucked up foods and liked it. this got me wondering what other sins against the culinary world others enjoy and just what can we get others to try. I'm not proud of this even a little bit but perhaps this thread should exist for every one of us who likes onions on our peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. we need love too. and when I say we I by no means mean me but I see the need for such a place given just how many insane takes have come from the aforementioned thread. so, on that note what's a fucked up food you enjoy that might sicken others?

 

It’s been years, but at one point in my life I ordered a steak from a Mexican restaurant and put ketchup on it. I was a child and loved it

 

Minor compared to some of the things I am certain will be posted but I had to find this from an old thread since I got roasted for it then

My mom loves banana and mayo sandwiches. I guess its a southern thing.

 

Whenever I make chili, I mix oats in during the cooking process.

My grandpa used to love a drink he made that was simply called “red beer”. Made by combining beer (coors banquet usually) and a can of V8 in a glass

Haven't heard of it without hot sauce though

 

This thread makes me feel lame. My most fucked up food thing sometimes I'll put ketchup on my bacon.

 

bloody mary for people who stormed the capitol

 

Spicy V8 if you need the bite

 

I use them as a thickening agent and for added texture

 

I didn't develop a taste for mustard until like 5 years ago so before that I would do ketchup and relish on my hot dogs

 

Speaking of hot sauce one of my kids puts hot sauce on pancakes

 

Not something i do regularly but I have tried putting red pepper flakes in my coffee before to give it a little kick.

Also one time I was making boxed mac and cheese and we didn't have milk so I used hazelnut coffee creamer as a replacement . I thought the cooking process would temper out the sweetness. I was wrong and it was gross.

The former sounds really good I might try that

The latter I think I actually have tried myself and yes it was bad (I definitely used creamer but can't remember what kind)
