oh fuck yeah. wasn't expecting this, I feel like they usually have a longer gap between the one-off single(s) and the following album
Liked the single without loving it, but at this point, this band has my absolute backing to do whatever they want. They've earnt it.
New song is a ripper instrumentally. Definitely going to “click” after a few listens. Not gonna burn it out though.
After the disappointment of "Bull" this was a pleasant surprise. The single seems like a good mix of their last two albums and their older stuff. Very interested to see what the album is like as a whole.
Only 9 full new songs! Their shortest album by ~10min, that’s a bummer. I trust them it’ll be all killer no filler
I don't mind it so long as we get some quality Shikari here. I also cannot believe it'll have been almost exactly 3 years since NITAEIP. When I think back to that album, I feel like it was released in 2021, like a little over a year in my mind. Crazy.
I'll probably stick The Void Stares Back at the end or something which will make it a bit longer lol.
There's always something around the corner with them so I'm not too bothered. I'll probably tack the studio Pendulum x Sorry You're Not A Winner as a bonus track once it comes out as well.
Oh I should've clarified, it's not available anywhere yet. I just brought it up because Rou was asked about it in the NME article.
My experience with Enter Shikari always varies from album to album but one of my favorite live shows was when I saw them back in 2011/2012 with TDWP so I’ll give every new release a shot. Hoping this one hits me
