not going to bad mouth a Great GGD song but it will definitely bum me out a little if/when one of the most plainly immediate pop songs by a GOAT gets eliminated

 

Wouldn’t be mad at a Bowie win, but the Goos were so formative to me. “Iris.”

 

My wife is a big GGD fan so we listen to DUTG a lot together. "Iris" for me.

"Modern Love" has become one of my least favorite songs of all time, and "Iris" has been one of my favorites since I was young. Easy choice here.

 

Omg I can’t believe I’m gonna vote against Bowie here. Love Modern Love but it’s not among my favorite Bowie songs and “Iris” was such a personal huge deal to me back in the day that I just can’t vote against it.

 

Head says Modern Love but heart says Iris. Going with the latter.

Iris is basically a part of my DNA from all the radio play growing up, sorry Bowie

 

Really like Bowie, but "Iris" is my all time #1, so it's pretty easy.

Iris has a fair claim as the best pop song of all time

 

i don't disagree. could say the same about modern love.

last song at my wedding so i won't be able to be normal about it. it's fine. what a riff. what a sax solo. what a vocal performance.

 

Both are great but "Iris" hits me harder.

 

Modern Love, but that says more about thinking Iris is the weakest of the big GGD singles than being particularly huge on ML. Bowie is lucky he didn’t get put up against Name!!!
