Man I am really scratching my head at the Futures love, haha. I just don't get it! Clarity is the much better album, and I can say that after deep diving Jimmy for the past two weeks.

i know i shouldn't be surprised but what on earth is happening here

bleed american is worse than futures, sure, but it getting blown out by a legacy album and futures blowing out another legacy album with arguably just as big of a following if not bigger is wild. not saying ziggy should be blowing futures out but it should be much closer than this.

 

This site loves Bruce more than they love Bowie apparently

I mean, kind of? Not a perfect metric, but the Springsteen thread has like 10x as many posts as the Bowie thread. I’m actually impressed Ziggy made it as far as it did when classic albums I’ve seen get a lot more talk around here (Purple Rain, Rumours, a bunch of Beatles albums) fell in prior rounds.

i kinda get what you're saying, but at the same time Bowie beat the #2 overall album and maybe thee most beloved album on the boards in the ap days and their vote totals through the three previous rounds are roughly the same. so this round does seem like a bit of an outlier.
