Round three is here. 16 winners of the previous round. What album will come out on top? NOTICE: PLEASE DO NOT VOTE UNLESS YOU'VE HEARD BOTH ALBUMS. STOP DOING THIS SHIT. For this matchup, we start with: (1) Radiohead - OK Computer vs. (16) Radiohead - Kid A
only one can move on, on some days OKC is my #1 radiohead, and on most days Kid A is flirting with the 4-5-6 range. easy choice.
What a fun one!! Kid A is a little closer to 1 on my all time list, so it gets my vote. I have all three of Everything in its Right Place, the title track, and MPS in my Radiohead top 5. Won’t be sad if OKC wins though, it’s close.
OK Computer for me. I know Kid A probably has the loftier reputation at this point, but I just don't think the songs are as good.
Both of these alternate between my top two but How to Disappear Completely has been hitting really hard this year so Kid A. If this poll went up another week it could have been OK Computer.
Maybe I'll do these back to back today and make a more educated decision than just my gut. Both are good though. Still boring to have this many Radiohead albums in the bracket still
Yeah, I adore both of these but I think OKC focuses more on songwriting while Kid A focuses more on building something new. Looking back at their career at that time, it remains bold even to this day. Plus, only one of these albums has "Motion Picture Soundtrack" on it. It's Kid A for me
Both are fantastic but I find Kid A more interesting. Motion Picture Soundtrack and Let Down are my two favourite Radiohead songs.
I know they're both regarded as classics but there is something seriously, seriously wrong with more people choosing OK Computer over Kid A.
Eh, even as a Kid A stan I think it’s close. OKC is an all time classic rock album that has lost 5% of its luster because they made it a second time and wrong people like that version better this may have been worded as inflammatorily as possible on purpose
I love OKC but Kid A slightly edges it out because of Everything in it's Right Place and the National Anthem
No one will care about this, but I got Kid A for Christmas in sixth grade after somehow hearing about how great it is/was / Radiohead is/was for like a year straight (how the fuck does that happen to a sixth grader who’s only music knowledge came from MTV???) so needless to say I was absolutely baffled at what I was listening to since my main music of choice until then was basically Korn, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, Eminem and idk MxPx or something lol
