I expect we'll lose Bleed here, and I'm not going to be mad about it, but I don't really care about Nevermind and never have, so count me in for tarnishing "the reputation of this website."

  9. My first thought was “well, it’s not my favorite Jimmy record” but then my second thought was “well, it’s not my favorite Nirvana record either” lol. I like Jimmy more but am gonna give this some thought

Yeah, they are pretty squarely in the "this is fine" zone for me. I enjoy them enough when they're playing, but have never felt a fraction of the passion for them that a lot of other people do.

Nevermind is a good record that’s undeniably insanely important. It’s also a little overrated. Bleed American for me.

A shame we'll probably lose Bleed American here, but rightfully so. Nevermind gets my vote by a mile.

As a casual fan of both, it's gotta be Nirvana for me

This is tough because while I think Nevermind is the better album, I have zero desire to really ever listen to it again given how beat into my head these songs are. Nonetheless, I made the right choice.

I feel like certain songs from both albums have been beaten into my head over the years, but the difference is that I still enjoy hearing those songs from Bleed American and would be totally fine never hearing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" ever again.

  20. Breed > Bleed

  24. This is where I'm at. Nevermind is the record I return to more now, but Bleed American is the one I grew up with. This is a tough one.

  25. Only one of these albums has "Breed" on it and I'm voting for that one. Gotta think about the insane quality and quantity of hooks on Nevermind, which, to be fair, Bleed American comes closer than most to reaching.
