I can't find a gif of it, but in the anime Engaged To The Unidentified there's a scene where the character Benio finds out another character can turn into a wolf like thing and screams "It's happening!" because she thinks it's a "furry ears flag". This announcement gives me that same energy.
I'm happy Daredevil is coming back, but one of the biggest problems with all the Netflix series was they dragged out the season with too many episodes. 18 episodes sounds like a recipe for disaster.
Maybe they will be shorter episodes? Like 20-30 minutes. Which would put it on par with only 9 Netflix episodes. Make it 4 hours shorter than the OG seasons.
As someone who never thought the Netflix seasons were too long and loved every minute, I'm okay with them making this show as long as they need to be.
Yeah, if they recast anybody, I'm gonna riot. I feel like they're aware it would be a bad choice though.
18, wow. Gonna be disappointed if (probably when) the tone of this completely shifts and becomes standard Marvel affair. Excited for more of Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio of course
I could watch Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio do Daredevil and Kingpin things forever and not get sick of it
It's almost definitely going to have an entirely different feel from the Netflix show but I'll be cautiously optimistic
I think the 18 episodes makes sense if they treat this as almost a new Defenders show with Jessica Jones, Echo, Luke Cage, maybe even Moon Knight all making appearances. My one hope is they bring Electra back and ignore all the stuff from the Netflix shows with her. It can be the same actress because I liked her, but her storylines were trash.
he was pretty dead last time we saw him. not that that's really an impediment in comic book media lmao
