yeah i was very pleasantly surprised to see this is basically following up Obi Wan. looks very promising from the teaser.

 

Wait, didn't they already say they're working on season two? Isn't that by definition, not a limited series?

Per wikipedia, season 1 of this show takes place 5 years prior to Rogue One, which is probably after the events of Obi-Wan, considering how young Luke appears in the Obi Wan trailer.

Yeah, my mistake. I hadn't looked into it much, but knew I heard 12 somewhere and assumed 12 years prior to Rogue One. 12 episodes this season and 12 episodes in season 2. This season is 5 years before Rogue One, and the second season leads into Rogue One.
