This could bomb in the US and still be the top 5 highest grossing films of all time just from how insanely popular this franchise is in China alone.

 

Rewatched the first one recently. It’s fine. Will definitely check this out

I’m intrigued. Didn’t love the original when it came out, but there’s enough good there for me to be interested in what he does with this world next.

 

Has Sam Worthington done anything since the first one

 

I have made fun of the first one a lot, but Cameron has dedicated his career to this so maybe it will be an improvement beyond a very by-the-numbers origin story.

 

He starred in two Titans movies.

So, no.

 

Never bet against James Cameron. Especially when it comes to sequels.

 

I forgot when we were talking about gaps in canon viewing, but ive never seen a James Cameron film in its entirety.
I've seen the end of Terminator 2 on TV

 

Growing up in the 90's while avoiding seeing Titantic is a feat.

 

Every time ive considered watching Titantic I see the 3 and half hour runtime and remember I already know what happens

 

We saw Titanic three times in theaters. I'm pretty sure it was in theaters so long that I had changed grades.

 

It had like an 8 month theatrical run.

 

and everyone's grandma owned the two tape VHS set.

 

Do I have to see this one in 3D?
