I like Lightning I and II.

 

Casual fan that harbors no strong feelings about the band’s arc, but this is a great couple of tracks.

the best part of reading this comment was first reading the track list and saying hmm, then reading your comment and going back to the track list and thinking oh yea this is obnoxious, then being about to scroll away and only THEN noticing (Race and Religion) lol

 

so I guess they weren't humbled by the reception of EN lol

I'm only a casual Arcade Fire fan but hopefully this is good. I had a lot of fun seeing them at Lollapalooza in 2017.

 

Songs aren’t bad, especially part II. But my hopes are like astoundingly low for this.

 

Songs rule, album is gonna slap

 

Gotta say, pretty happy Generation A is seemingly not on this.

 

Their best song in a long time. Part 2 in particular is fantastic.

 

Possibly. Though I wouldn’t rule out “End of the Empire IV”

Hoping this album shows some shine. Temporarily excited.
