It's been a long time since I've watched The Simpsons, but I can't remember a time I ever really found Lisa anything but annoying.

The kind of person who has good intentions and takes up worthy causes but goes about it in such a ham-fisted way that it ruins anything they hoped to accomplish.

I do remember enjoying her interactions with Bleeding Gums though.

Anyway, Nick Riviera is hilarious.

Some people are making the right choice and some people are going with boring Lisa. Seems pretty clear to me.

 

I assumed the family members were going to coast until at least the final 16.

I really loathe how Lisa has become a figure of hatred over the past few years on the internet...but I gotta go with Dr Nick, who has some of the funniest lines in the series

 

For my part, I wouldn't say I hate her; I just can't think of anything I especially liked about the character.

Then again, time and distance from the show may be coloring my thoughts. I'm sure there's a lot that I don't remember that well.

I was thinking of asking this earlier, but your post has given me a proper segue to do it, so sell me on Lisa. Tell me what's great about the character. I'm interested to know.

 

No way Lisa loses this early. The heart and soul of the show must move on

 

Probably my favourite character on the show honestly.

 

Down with nepotism. Vote for Dr. Nick. He doesn't need to be a Simpson, or even an actual doctor, to give us joy.

 

I voted for Lisa because I do prefer Lisa but Dr Nick is a great character and i wouldnt mind if he won the round.

 

I've always felt Marge was the heart and soul way more than Lisa. Lisa is the brain.
