South Park changed television forever in a lot of ways. It's not always great, but when it hits, it's nearly unbeatable.
I think this will be a tight one, but ultimately think SP will win out. SP wore on me really quickly, but there are also some just downright terrible episodes of IAS. my vote is still IASIP.
First ten seasons of South Park are excellent, there’s some great IASIP episodes but it doesn’t come close to South Park’s consistency for so long. Now if we’re talking South Park just the last 5 or so years it probably wouldn’t make the bracket.
South Park is better at its best but worse at its worst. Sunny was consistently great for 6 years then hit a huge hiccup and has been inconsistent for what is now half their run.
I've tried to get into It's Always Sunny multiple times and it never takes. South Park is a shell of itself now but every once in a while it shines bright.
The characters are like the worst parts of Seinfeld. They stretch believability far past its breaking point.
The best parts of Curb are when they address real-world issues and our absurd adherence to traditions that don't make sense. Curb has been guilty of being too ridiculous at times.
I’m not as crazy about some of the most recent Sunny seasons as a lot of people around here are, but South Park has been trash for like 10 years. Even recently threw on a few classic ones for old times sake and after 3 shows decided it was better off left to memory
I haven't watched or cared about South Park in over a decade now but during its peak it was pretty much everything IASIP constantly tries to be
