Well, there clearly were no other shows this past year

 

The Emmys are almost always a joke every year. Couldn’t possibly make room to nominate, say, Mark Proksch as a supporting actor for WWDITS, need to nominate four different actors from Ted Lasso instead.

 

The way they presented that award was soooo awkward as well

Nothing says the show is working hard on improving itself than a random, forced statement lol

 

Good start for Ted though! Happy for anything it wins.

 

I don’t disagree with you that the emmys are a joke but WWDITS didn’t air any episodes during the eligibility period this year

 

Actually they did air 2 episodes during this year’s eligibility period (June 1, 2020 - May 31, 2021). But regardless, replace it with any other deserving show, the point stands.

 

Well, that was really weird

Did they think he won for some reason?

 

Watching this award show really feels like television is totally privatized and if you’re an average person who can’t afford subs than you’re assed out of watching any good tv shows lol

Honestly aghast that there was a sketch about the fucking fly from thr VP debate almost a full year after the fact

 

That was so stupid, same with the Dr. Phil skit

 

Well at least ted lasso didn’t totally sweep lol
