Loved him in Bly Manor, but man, as a former Achievement Hunter watcher, it created some real mental dissonance for me seeing his emotional performance but also knowing he got executed by Jeremy Dooley thinking he was Gavin Free in GMOD: Murder.
As a whole I preferred Hill House but the finale of Bly was devastating and hasn’t left me since I watched it.
Both were excellent in doing what they wanted to do. Most people going into Bly were just expecting more of a horror story because of Hill. I'm excited for this.
Scary or not, I usually really enjoy Flanagan's projects. I'm more than comfortable with horror reaching emotions on the spectrum other than fear and shock. Whatever this is, I'm sure it'll be good tv.
