Not sure much about this guy, but heard his EP from May and it’s great, a lot of different styles here:

How will I rest...is massive

now that I listened to the whole ep, his approach is very reminiscent of the 1975, moreso than most bands I hear associated with them

 

title track is a beast

 

Youtube has been recommending this dude for the past month and finally broke down and gave it a listen, he's great. digging the EP a lot

 

Favorite ep of the year.

The singles I've heard are just Bloc Party b-sides.

 

He’s pretty clear about wearing his influence on his sleeves....basically said he discovered Bloc Party, Two Door Cinema Club and etc and loved them

it’s the combo of those songs with the burial type stuff that makes him interesting imo

 

I’ve been bouncing around listening to bunch of his songs today and I’m kind of getting a 1975 vibe from him. Hopefully he doesn’t start putting out 22 track albums that are boring as hell

 

Here’s why the only artist KennyHoopla is trying to sound like is himself

probably my least favorite song of his, pretty generic but crazy to see him blowing up in the last couple months

Not his best but happy to see people liking it.

I will say that kenny's take on that sound is better than say, Machine Gun Kelly's – the production is better by a mile

 

And Kenny’s voice is immensely more interesting/textured
