    Yeah, I never really understood the vitriol for NA. Like it wasn't amazing but it was a perfectly fine TBS record and the guy who replaced Fred was decent. I recall there was like a literal mob in the forums who chastised anyone who liked it, iirc there was one poster who was defiant to them and wrote a review praising it, which in turn got him shit on by said mob.

    Let's crack the books on some of these stories, starting with...

    The Paramore Chat Thread of 09 AKA When Brazil Shut Down AP

    So to take us back, there was a time when Paramore was one of the biggest bands on the planet. Riot! was a smash hit and they had that song on the Twilight soundtrack, just huge. In 2009, they were set to release Brand New Eyes, their highly anticipated next record. AP was lucky enough to score a chat thread with Hayley Williams prior to the release, what a score! One problem though led to this mess, it was posted on a Brazilian Paramore fan page on FB(?) (Could be wrong here, clarify if incorrect) that this chat was to occur. So on the day of this chat, as it was to start, a tidal wave of Brazilian people created accounts and flooded the chat, desperate to exchange words with Hayley. The site struggled to uphold this and several crashes occurred. To compound on this, @Henry created a fake thread in General, which lead to another invasion that added to the struggle of the site staying online, arguably one of the best trolls I've ever witnessed. Eventually, the wave subsided, Henry's thread was locked, and the site survived. Still don't know how the chat went though, I'm sure it was grand.
