Creating this thread to see if there is enough interest to get a league together. I wouldn't mind setting it up. Who's interested? 10-12 teams is ideal, $25 buy in per team?
@FlayedManOfSF @domotime2 @PatRFinley @Zoshchenko @Swoos sounds like we have 6 interested parties thus far my vote would be Yahoo, as it's the only one I've used for baseball and am most familiar with.
Hey hi hello. 25 seems like the prefect amount to me. Enough to be fun, but not feel like a waste when I inevitably end up with an awful team haha
I've only ever done categories, ie. 1 point if you get more RBIs, 1 point if you get a higher BA, etc. I am open to any and all options though
Yeah I've only done h2h categories. Dont have to reinvent the wheel with this league. Standard stats? Maybe ops instead of average
is strikeouts a category for hitters? does the lesser number get the point? I would probably want RBIs in there as well. Same with HRs for pitchers, does it count against or reward the lowest number?

I'm definitely into adding some more odd-ball categories, and more categories in general to prevent any remote chance of a tie haha
I'm a standard guy. Runs, rbi, hr, sb and one either average or slugging. Wins, saves, era, whip, k Other categories I like are quality starts. And walks for hitters.
Basic set up would be: Hitting: AVG, HR, RBI, SB, R Pitching: ERA, K, SVHD, QS, BB Or we could do something a little different with: Hitting: AVG, OPS, HR, Net SB, RBI Pitching: ERA, K, SVHD, HR Allowed, OBA (OBP Against) ESPN has all of these categories
