We Need a New Bracket (Bring Me the Horizon bracket) Bracket

BMTH bracket starting tomorrow!

 

I don’t really care for a lot of this band’s material if I’m being totally honest, but I’ll play along for fun.

 

Honestly I don't really care about anything before Sempiternal.

Round 8 is wayyyy too unfair, cause Ludens will absolutely win that, haha.

 

Yeah you're probably right, but it's on them for not having great bsides.

 

Very interested to see how a lot of these go. Never been to a proper BMTH show so I have no idea what the fan favorites are and whatnot.

For those who are new to the concept, these are randomly generated brackets (no seeding!) where we go from album to album and put the songs from an album against each other. We vote on each matchups until we have a winner for each albums. Those songs will then face off in a Champions bracket to decide the best overall Bring Me The Horizon song! Same rules as the other brackets:


Rules:

1. Voting will take place over 10-24 hour period, depending on how close the matches are (if there's a wide margin too far to beat, the round may be run ruled to not waste time).

2. You must vote on every match in a round. If you don't, your votes don't count. Just reply to this thread with your choices. I will not vote unless there is a tie needed to be broken.

3. Feel free to discuss why you chose one songover the other and why you like that song. It's what keeps these fun!

4. I avoid byes into rounds if I can, but sometimes it's necessary. These are randomly generated; I do not pick them.

5. Once your votes are counted, there are no vote changes. Choose wisely before posting!

6. The King John Rule: Only participate if you've heard these songs. You are welcome to look them up and listen before hand, but if there's evidence you haven't heard them before or you're just voting to help/hurt a song your votes will notcount.

Black & Blue - Oli's vocals are super rough on this one, but the guitar solo is undeniable.
For Stevie Wonder's Eyes Only - Admittedly, it's somewhat problematic how much Oli uses the word "bitch" in this one, but writing a song from the perspective of death is just one of those cool, weird things a newer BMTH wouldn't dare do. Also that title is so bizarre, I love it.

I'm not a big fan of this album. It's alright from a musical standpoint considering it's their debut full-length, but I don't like the vocals very much at all. I got into them soon after Suicide Season came out and I think that album is a big step up from this.

possibly, but suicide season was a pretty big album

 

Based on the poll 2 weeks ago, There Is a Hell and Sempiternal are the favorites around here, so I think it will take off around that.
