Green Day/Fall Out Boy/Weezer 2020 tour Tour

Figured might as well start a thread seeing as this is going to get announced ASAP and people on the site are going to talk about it non stop

 

Crossing my fingers for a SoCal date of any sort. I hate trekking to LA for shows but I’ll drive wherever for this. Green Day was my first concert and I haven’t seen them in 9 years

 

I hope this comes to Orlando or at least Tampa. I can’t miss this.

 

Holy yes this will be amazing. Finally, FOB touring with decent bands (acts) again. Never seen GD, and would love to see Weezer again as the last time was when they opened for Angels and Airwaves like a decade ago.

 

I would imagine the new Rams stadium in Inglewood.

 

While that would be cool... that stadium is still well far off from being ready to host its first event. Yeah it says it's supposed to be open by this time next year... but I wouldn't be surprised if it were delayed a couple months.

A bit early to even talk about this, but what do we think the set times would be for each band? Fair to assume GD gets the longest and FOB and Weezer play the same length?

 

This is green Day we are talking about minimum 2 hours. And id say at least an hour from the other 2

 

Probably
Doors: 4pm
Weezer: 5-6
FOB: 6:30 - 7:30
GD: 8:00-10:45
Curfew: 11

A lot of people think FOB is gonna be opening but they play way bigger venues than Weezer (at least from what I’ve seen)

 

There is no way Green Day just play for an hour and a half when they usually play upwards of 3

 

10:45-8:00 = 2:45 Min... so where are you getting an hour and a half from?

Are they not gonna play at the Banc Of California stadium anymore?

Speaking of, that or the Rose Bowl will probably be the SoCal venue for this

 

Rose Bowl for sure if the Rams stadium isn't ready.

 

Don't know if they will play Rose Bowl again. Last time Green Day played it, I believe it struggled to sell.

I’m guessing a teaser of some sort is out tomorrow

 

That could be possible! I hope so, because anytime something new happens with the tour I get more excited for it.
