Can someone refresh me on what the allegations were against the dude in this band? Is he still in it? Were the current members shitty about the whole thing? I know something happened but I can't seem to find more info
They definitely kicked the guy out in 2017 around the time of the promo cycle for Good Nature, that’s all I really knew of the situation

Maybe not, I wasn't sure if he was in the band for Good Nature. I still don't feel comfortable paying for any of their shit for the time being but I did enjoy the last one.
The only questionable thing here is they released a statement at the same time GN was announced, so obviously that overshadowed it.
Ya I think the issue was they took like forever to do anything about it and then when they did it was immediately overshadowed by their album. That being said, I also notice that they've done an exceptional job with including women on their tour bookings since then which obviously doesn't excuse past behavior but to me shows some actual change and desire to set a better example going forward.
Their statement was also pretty good. Way better than most, honestly. And unlike other bands that took a while to do the right thing they actually apologized for it as well.
Give it another shot. I wasn’t into it at first, but it clicked in a big way for me on a lazy summer night
