holy shit this is so unexpected, IT'S HAPPENING. I fucking LOVE Sleigh Bells, this is a collab I never would have guessed but it's fuckin FIRE
Hmmm. I’m always here for this band, but colour me unimpressed with both the single and the cover art. Hoping for some stronger writing on the rest of the album.

On just one listen i'm in. Alexis is a neat addition. Think I may spin some 3EB today, boys. Dopamine for sure and maybe Blue....... we'll see how the day flows.
Song is ok. It sounds like a nice build up for the album as the opening track, but it doesn't have a standalone/standout feel to it. Excited for this nonetheless. I enjoyed Dopamine. The songwriting was solid front to back on that album. One thing I'm watching for on Screamer: I'm hoping Kryz Reid makes more of a mark. He seemed a bit reserved/safe on Dopamine, but when he stepped up (Something In You, for example) I really enjoyed his contributions. Hoping all these additional years of touring with the band will help.
THIRD EYE BLIND TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM SCREAMER OCTOBER 18 HEAR NEW SONG “SCREAMER”(featuring Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells) “My current mood resonates with rebellion, energy, courage, and risk,” says Stephan Jenkins, onThirdEyeBlind’s sixth full length album, Screamer(October 18). “I seek to combine it with a percussive level of musical immediacy in this collection of songs to cultivate collective idealism and an unapologetic aspiration towards humanistic values.” Hear the title track "Screamer" available on all streaming services July 25. The follow up to 2018’s EP Thanks for Everything, Screamer finds Third Eye Blind collaborating with Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells (“Screamer”), Ryan Olson of Marijuana Death Squad and Poliça (“Who Am I” and “Got So High”), with the album’s musical consigliere, Billy Corgan. “We have always been so insular,” says Jenkins, “and on Screamer we adopted an open door policy -- come in, be musical, and follow the song where it takes us.” Going strong for over two decades, Third Eye Blind have broken their own attendance records with 2019’s Summer Gods tour. The biggest tour in the band’s history will wrap August 3 in Irvine, CA with Jimmy Eat World and Ra Ra Riot. (Third Eye . Blind has offset the tour’s carbon footprint by donating a portion of each ticket sold to a US-based carbon offset project managed by ClimeCo.) “It’s an incredible feeling to be in a good rock band,” adds Jenkins. “The gift that’s been given to me is that people view my music as enlivening them.” Screamer will be available everywhere on October 18, and October 11 on the ‘Ten Bands One Cause’ Pink Vinyl Campaign Benefitting Gilda’s Club NYC. SCREAMER EXPLORES THE DUALITY OF OUR DYSTOPIAN PRESENT AS CATALYST FOR PASSIONATE HUMANISM. Those are certainly ... words. Not sure any of his quotes or that album description actually mean anything.
lol seems pretty par for the course for him. I'm confused though, what was Billy Corgan's role with this album?
