This feels like the logical next move after Adornment, which I’m excited about. A lot less pop punk-y. Not sold on the melody in the second half of that chorus, but otherwise this is dope! Those clean guitars tones are suuuuper pretty.
Sounds rad to me. I dig the new direction. A lot more polished a little less pop punk which suits them a lot I think.
So excited for this. Not as into the new song at first as I was Painkiller Weather but it’ll grow on me. I love the music video, Jordan always does amazing videos for them.
Preorders are also on their website. Looks like there are a few vinyl variants. Grayscale Worldwide Merch Store
Makes sense... they feel like they're wanting to be The Maine HARD so far on the singles, which I don't like... I loved Grayscale prior to these singles, I love The Maine, I don't need another The Maine.
I love this band and both the new singles but I have always wondered why they put that subpar version of “Change” on their first record? The original version is way more dynamic and interesting and the “new version” of Change feels so boring.
I don't hear the comparison at all. Maybe Painkiller Weather with the '90s 3eb vibe but that's about it.
Can defintely feel The Maine vibes on both songs especially Painkiller Weather. I'm here for it though I think the new song is pretty meh compared to most of the last album. I'm down for more Painiller Weather sounding songs though.
They said they have another massive announcement to make on Twitter. I’m assuming a tour. Kind of hoping it’s the same one Belmont is supposed to announce tomorrow.
In Violet has grown on me a lot. I find myself listening to it just as much as Painkiller Weather now. I'm very stoked for the new record and to see these guys on tour again.
Looks like you’re right. bottomofthehill: Grayscale ~ Belmont ~ Bearings ~ Rich People --- 09/18/2019
Hot damn I love that. I variant collect vinyl for only two bands, Grayscale and Bearings, so I’m stoked on this lineup. And that’s a west coast date so I really hope that means they will hit Portland.
