I want to go to the chain reaction date so bad but probably won't because it is on a weekday so will most likely end up doing LA
Mines on a Wednesday lol. I’m gonna leave work early and come in late Thursday, and sacrifice my Saturday and work so I can do this
I’d love to go to Chain, but just got my ticket for LA because I’ll be going to City and Colour on that Wednesday.
Not a bad idea actually but it'd be crazy to see them at Chain. I never got the opportunity back in the day.
Senses fail for some reason have always been really tough for me to see, especially for headlining shows. Bummed I probably won’t get to this.
Ugh. The LIEY tour stop for Chicago was also Riot Fest. As a Chicago resident I’m so tired of really good fall tours ending up at Riot Fest. It just isn’t the same.
It’s okay because you get the spring tour as well. I don’t feel sorry for anyone who lives in Chicago when it comes to shows lol
I miss living in a big northern city tbh. I lived in Cleveland, OH most of my life and every tour seemed to stop there, or one of the big festivals were within driving distance. Since moving to Nashville, I’d say I get a date on a tour only 40% of the time if I’m being gracious
Trust me, there are plenty of tours that skip Cleveland! With Detroit, Pittsburgh, and Columbus all being within a reasonable distance most tours do come to the area though. It’d have to be a VERY special show though for me to drive 3+ hours each way and I’d be very unlikely to do that on a work night.
I grew up so spoiled with chain reaction, house of blues anaheim, glasshouse pomona, and the observatory that I wouldn't even travel to Los Angeles for shows because of traffic.
Three things will get me to drive out to LA for a show 1. If it’s a big reunion 2. If it’s a festival 3. If it’s a free show
I feel like I'm spoiled living only an hour and a half from philly. Literally every tour comes there lol.
90 minutes from Baltimore and 90 from DC. Most tours hit one of the two. And if it's a Saturday/No work the next day I can usually do the drive to Philly
I'm right in the middle between LA and Anaheim. Literally every tour comes to either if not both and its nice
