As much as I still enjoyed Octahedron and Noctourniquet, I think most everyone would love to hear a return to their crazier shit. We'll see!
lol @Henry I don't think so. Cedric is a pretty big family man now, I haven't heard/seen much from Omar lately though. I think the first Antemasque album and the latest ATDI music has shown that they can kick some ass without drugs though, so I still have lots of hope
here for this - I’m ok with a “pop” Volta album if that’s what they’re doing obvs crazy is awesome too
I personally never really returned to ATDI newest album, and I was lukewarm on Noctourniquet. Though I’m hopeful for some new tunes
for me it's pretty cut and dry De-Loused > Frances > Bedlam > Amputechture > Noctourniquet > Octahedron
This is pretty clear for me too. Sometimes bedlam can hit me hard and eek out frances, but frances is amazing
Bedlam >>>>> Deloused> Amputechture> Frances > Noctourniquet> Octa Imo bedlam is by far their best album. The musicianship on it is ridiculous and really one of a kind. That being said even their lowest ranked album is still amazing.
Bedlam could use a Steven Wilson remixing from the original Demos. The production and mixing has always made it unlistenable for me.
De-Loused > Frances > Amputechture > Bedlam > Noctourniquet > Octahedron although the top 3 records have all been number one at a different points
