You guys, I'm not crazy. If you are turning on a faucet, you are turning it to the left, which is counterclockwise.

if you're looking at a clock, yes counterclockwise from 12 is moving to your left towards 11

but if you're sitting in a circle and pass to your left, that's always gonna be clockwise cuz you're in the circle and not looking at it from a different direction
