ya'llll I'm so excited. Brand new is my favorite band and I got tickets for my SO and I to see them next month. He still hasn't listened to the new albu mand it's finally "the right time" so we're rolling a blunt and listening to it with Plane 9 on. My ideal afternoon tbh

I bought a Boundless CF. I looked at a bunch of comparisons and didn't wanna drop 200 on a PAX and it seemed the best. Not as cool looking but I like it a lot so far. I also know nothing about vaping.

 

nothing is more annoying than people who police who gets first hit or who put in how much, esp since its never the people who put in more/the most doing that lol.

 

Really lucky my friends have always been cool about that, we smoke each other out all the time and it's nbd. I hear awful stories from people sometimes about being a cop about it all

anyone ever smoke in vegas since it's been legal? i'll be there tonight, just because i'm flying home from there in the morning. probs gonna grab an edible or something for the flight.

 

I really hate that my friend and his Dad have no idea how to corner a bowl properly.

 

What is cornering a bowl? I know little terminology bc I mostly smoke alone :)

 

Only lighting a small portion of the bowl, so multiple people can get green and the whole thing doesn't burn up quickly in a big cherry.

 

Oh there's a word for that okay cool. I do my best at it. Gets difficult w like 4 or 5 other people which is basically the only time I have to worry about it so I just go last and allow myself the trash hit

 

Just keep the lighter outside the bowl and let your inhalation draw the flame to the part you want.

 

This is the absolute worst pot smoking etiquette, next to smoking out of turn.

 

Also, smacking the bowl out of your hand right when you're gonna inhale.

 

I don't even mind smoking out of turn, it happens accidentally sometimes. I just hate the taste of ash and these two light up the bowl with no regard. Then again, they frequently smoke resin... so that's where the bar is set. Trying to talk to them about it is impossible too. The one guy is old and won't listen. He thinks that ripping the bowl as hard as you can and then covering it with his hand or some fingers is appropriate. His son, I've explained this to, just never learns.

 

This is my Dad lol, I smoke resin too and started doing so with him but when me and my girl started living together she was like "Corner your hits" and I had only a small bowl at that time so I was like wtf... the flame itself is bigger than this tiny bowl (I only traveled down with a tiny one so I wasn't carrying all my shit, figured I'd come back for it). We go and buy a new bigger bowl a few days later and no problems but then a few weeks later we go see my family and her, my father, and I all smoke and he killed the bowl in one turn cus he hit the whole bowl and chugged in 3 rips off one light (that take a big first hit, blow that out quick just to say you got another one that's weak rather than holding the good one).
The look on my girl's face lmao.... I was annoyed too and I said something to him about it but he tried to put it off like "YOU ALWAYS KILL THE BOWL IRON LUNGS" (which I wish was true, he says that cus I take 2 quick hits rather than one long one cus my lungs cant pull deeply very well - sometimes I'm lucky to get much of a hit at all if the bowl is packed too tight or slightly clogged).

He's slowly got better but he still hits a half of the bowl more often then a corner, and still does that blow out the first to get a second but I'll take the progress over him killing my bowl in one turn lol.

It's disgusting because then you have to light the stuff on top too to get to the bottom and it just tastes absolutely awful.

 

If someone slapped my hand when I was smoking I'd slap them lol.

 

That truly sounds like the rudest shit I'd flip out but probably not if I'm high already

 

Yeah my dad is the one who got me into mixing the bowl around after the first round of hits cus of that shit, helps me and whoever else might be smoking. Old dog new tricks, I get it. My dad is 63 and been smoking literally 50 years, and even when he use to smoke with others he was more of a joint guy I remember growing up and did solo bowls at home in the basement. Once my girl explained to him though its not me trying finesse him (which he thinks that cus he grew up in the streets he takes 95% of shit in life as a hustle, even 40-50 years from the height of that for him) he started taking to it a bit, thankfully my sister didn't pick up his habit unless shes just too ripped when high (still new to her) but that's largely cus I broke her in and my girl and I been smoking with her for almost as long as shes been smoking - even though she mainly smokes with my dad.

Come to think of it.... each kid in my family has had their "era" smoking primarily with my dad lmao. My lil bro 5-7 years ago, me from 2014-earlier this year, and now my sister lmao.... Guess my dad really is looking at life as a hustle, "Shit I made these kids, might as well get em to smoke me up" lmao (hes smoked all us up plenty times too to be fair)

 

The mixing thing was one of the first things I was taught in order for smoking to not be the worst thing on the planet. I hate the taste either way but it's bearable at least.


Can't imagine smoking with my dad. He'd kill me first
