Speaking my language. I don’t smoke flower inside my place and with the cold this winter we’ve only been smoking rosin. I don’t know budgets but top end would be 710 labs. TBH, a good portion of their drops taste the same to me but ther SB #36 is an on-sight drop for me. They’re stringent on their pressing tiers and their price points so look for em on a sale or treat yourself on a nice occasion. The high is usually solid. I have enjoyed a lot of peninsula garden but I heard a key member of their production team left. That said, I’m usually looking for their products in menus as I like them a lot. olio is a solid new brand i believe was started by a former 710 employee. I caught it on a mega deal around Black Friday. It was real good for the price I got it at ($25 a gram I believe) but it smoked probably like a $30-40 gram. Information entropy don’t distro their rosin but if you are in Ann Arbor it’s worth scoping out their menu. I think information entropy have the best flower in the state by a comfortable margin. It’s killer, but mostly sold in quarters so I don’t get it often. Mostly smoke their 2g cannon pre rolls for social settings. Hunna is probably my favorite in the state as they have the move consistent aroma, taste, high in their drops. I don’t think I’ve had anything I didn’t like, or had anything that felt lacking which happens with even the brands I mentioned above. Hunna does like 100-250 jar drops at a time and the big stores are likely to get them (puff, king of Budz, jars, etc). the more you slide down the price ladder, you lose the following in my opinion: -aroma -taste -high in that order (imo) so some stores will have tester jars you can smell and I value those as even a tester that’s oxidized should give you an idea of the aroma. Other value brands I’ve tried with some hits but more misses: brainwashed, peachy, polaire, and some others. King of Budz I like to shop at because they’re industry standard for ethics (know that basically no one is good lol) and their menu is vast and usually fresh at the locations I shop at. Puff and Mint usually have decent selections too. edit: have to shout out Exotic Matters. Don’t know how I forgot them but they do 2g jars which are all ranging from a B grade to A- really good stuff. Great price point and them and PG are the two I buy most consistently. Had some good stuff recently from Freshy Fine. Ice Kream Hash Co dropped an Egyptian Gold strain that was fantastic a few weeks ago. Highly recommend that too. Most of what I mentioned you can get normal price around $40-50 per gram ($60-70 for exotic matters 2g jars) or on sale for $30ish
King of Budz is right down the road for me and one of my go-to spots, that and Bowdega have been solid for me. I’ve had Apex, IKHC, Wojo, and Eastside Alchemy and have enjoyed them. I have an Exotic Matter I need to crack into soon. making an IE trip is on my list to do when I wanna do a large order, have heard great things about them, just need to find the time to go to Ann Arbor.
Eastside I might’ve missed the boat on. They had tons of love when I got into the industry but I haven’t had much that I enjoyed and stopped looking for the. I might swing back to them. Apex icm forgot is solid and Wojo too. I like their grams more than their disposable pens and their flower I got to try was avg at best but their jars of rosin are super solid. My coworker was talking up Bowdega but I haven’t been. Lmk if whenever you make it out to IE!
Bowdega definitely had the most knowledgeable and friendly workers I’ve encountered, and their selection is excellent. It’s definitely my favorite dispo I’ve gone too, they have a smoking lounge too lol
Man it's so annoying how many batteries still only charge via micro USB. Just bought a Kind Mist USB C battery and stoked about it. Also happy it's way more compact than a typical pen battery. Wish I got the 2.0 though, that one looks sick. I googled mine when I got home from the smoke shop, they didn't have that one.
Had a 10mg Revolution Brewing Reverb seltzer last night and I was high for hours. That duration hasn’t happened in a long time. Terminator 2 had never been more fun to watch.
Went too hard and have been doing between 40-80mg of seltzers the past couple weeks now I have too much tolerance. Gotta chill for a bit so I can get stoned with 20 or under MGs again.
