Grabbed an 8th of Sour Diesel and an 8th of Abby’s Road for the long weekend. I think I’m going to take a break once I run out, it’s been making me really anxious of late.
So these pax era batteries and carts we all agreed are legit and work great, yeah? I know y’all have talked about them before, I just don’t remember the details. Might snag one and a lemon haze cart today to see what they’re about.
I think i had bad luck with the PAX 2 b/c i would burn it through and then try and make edibles with the remains and they never turned out good. Was that a thing people could do or were my friends who gave me that idea just way off base?
Oh I was talking about the ones you just pop a cart in, not for dry herb. https://www.pax.com/products/era-life?variant=39291605516399 Now that I have dispensary access it just seems like the most convenient way
I’ve heard pretty low reviews on pax era here in OK but that could just be the companies they’ve licensed their equipment out to so Colorado could be different since they have more legit processors. Not to plug my company but you should check out the Apothecary pods. We have a store on Broadway in Denver. Their BHO pods rock but the sho pods are what get me through the day. I’m obsessed. They may not have any in stock at the moment but if you can catch them they’re absolutely worth it.
we custom make our own batteries which is why it’s not always in stock. We had some shipping issues with the last hardware purchase so they may not have received their shipment yet unfortunately but keep an eye out. They’re exclusive to Apothecary locations but they’re worth it. The 510 thread carts are fire too though. It’s the same oil as the pods just different hardware
i always liked the yocan uni for a cart battery but mine kind of crapped out after half a year. for 20 bucks not bad if you can find it for that like i did, i also had one of those regular stick batteries literally catch fire while charging so you never really know what youre gonna get lol. right now ive just got a regular auto-draw stick battery from beyond/hello thats their own brand, seems decent so far. not having temp control sort of sucks but it also saves me from cranking it up and just blowing through my carts lol
Not Oklahoma, but I bought a $30 ounce awhile back out of curiosity and while it’s a little dry and not the best I’ve had, shit still works pretty good
from fireleaf- yeah but occasionally you can find a place that’s selling their smalls as trim for less than 60. Last month was fucking chaos though. Shot I woulda spent $250 on going for 3/120
i recently bought my own weed for the first time (lmao, because previously i only ever smoked with/around friends at a party or hanging out) went to one of the (several) dispensaries in my town and bought a pre-roll. Indica, from i think the brand was called Maven? it wasn't bad! i only vaguely know the differences between indica/sativa and not a lot else. i wanna start trying more and more strains too
There is no difference between the effects of indica and sativa marijuana strains, scientists say learn about genetics and follow the family of strains you like. Shopping based on indica or sativa is like buying alcohol based on color of bottle!
wait really?? lmao damn i thought those two were distinct from each other. like... i dunno, rum and whiskey, if we're using alcohol analogies.
Honestly, when I get carts, the sativa does tend to knock me out more than the indica I buy (I always get an indica, hybrid, and sativa when I go to the dispensary)
there is absolutely a difference between strains but the effects from cannabis are far to complex to break it down in 2 categories. Indica and Sativa are (antiquated) growing classifications. Using them to describe the effects is just marketing and industry laziness. We recommend to our patients that they keep a notebook to learn about what they like. Go to the store and buy something that smells the best to you (The nose knows as they say). Write down the strain name and if your state gives any terpene information write that down too and include the percentage of each terp... I'll come back to that soon. Smoke some and write down what you like about the strain (smells funky, almost garlicy, strong sedation, heavy behind the eyes, giggly, very chill) After that I would use google to find the parents of the strain. Lets say i just got the strain GMO I would look up "GMO strain" on google and look for results from sites like Seedfinder.eu, Allbud or Wikileaf (Leafly is whack now. I avoid it at all cost). From those sites I would learn GMO is made of Chemdog x Girl Scout Cookies. I would either go out and buy some of the parents if there's any around or (most likely) I would look up information on both of those strains and try to figure out which parent those desired traits come from and then look from strains that parent has created with similar desired traits. It looks like GMO gets the giggly/chill traits from Girl Scout Cookies so I'm either going to try to buy Girl Scout Cookies or a strain with GSC in its lineage like Wedding Cake. Then i would either go backwards and look at the parents of GSC and Chemdog and try to find strains related to those or keep going down the line and dig into strains with Wedding Cake as the parent. This information is only relevant to flower and full spectrum concentrates (Live resin/cured resin/rosin). When it comes to carts- that's a whole new can of worms. You start getting into distillate which is just THC and added food grade flavors that don't necessarily change the effects. Live resin/cured resin/rosin/co2 will have a more true to the plant effect but there's a lot of marketing and bullshit going into carts that it can be hard to tell what you're actually getting unfortunately.
