This. I think my guy actually knows what the strains are, because he's getting them from growers and dispensaries, but every other person I've ever dealt with has had no idea what strain they have and has just said "I got that Blue Dream" because they read the name in High Times.
The high times lol welp. Whatever I have now I have rarely had before is the reason for my inquiry. Or maybe I just smoke more so it just feels different in general who knows
They usually know sometimes, but some dealers just lie, haha. If you actually got green crack though, that's an amazing sativa. What differentiates strains is the variance of THC%, CBD% and cannabinoid profiles. There are AT LEAST 113 different cannabinoids. Also, just like previous people said, variety of tastes/smells/indica/sativa are all factors.
This is gonna sound weird, maybe dumb to some, but the only strand that used to stand out in color, smell, and smoke was Haze. Purple Haze specifically. And I have not seen it in years.
Had it once. At this point, all of these strains blend together for me. I know I wasn't disappointed, though. Only thing I've had so far that was a "letdown" was Chocolope. Kind of a weak strain.
Blue Dream definitely has a certain scent to it that stays pretty consistent and I can recognize it at this point. Same with green crack to a lesser extent.
I may have bought the worst grinder in the world but I finally have gotten tired of using my hands and I hope this is at least a minor step up
Holy Toledo Batman, I dabbed at my friends place last night for the first time in forever and I was in another world immediately. He also makes his own rosin with a heat press and its apparently way cleaner than the butane stuff (tbh I don't really know much about it all). Legit got home and passed out at 10pm which I never do. Probably why I only dab once in a while
wild smacked, listening to music, no idea where life is going atm, not really caring high enough to believe in that whole 'everything in time' bullshit atm and appreciating that lmao.
since starting back up again over a month ago ive been able to avoid falling into the smoking all day every day routine, i pretty much only smoke at night, or at the earliest 3-4 pm but usually later. like today i still havent smoked and probably wont for another couple hours. and i dont smoke every single day, im able to take a day off here and there and not have any negative side effects. its been nice and i feel its much healthier than the way i had been smoking since i was like 17
Yeah man, setting limits for myself is a great way to avoid falling into smoking constantly. Also, just staying busy. I started going to the gym or running right after work, and then it's impossible for me to even consider smoking until around 6:30 or 7:00. Plus, I feel like I actually acoumplished something after the gym.
in portland for work right now. my hotel room has a nice private balcony overlooking a river so last night of course i chilled out there getting high as fuck. it was so fun. plan on doing the same tonight and then i leave tomorrow.
Getting stoned on a hotel room balcony is always a pleasure. I'm not sure what it is, but I know exactly what you mean.
So at the restaurant I work at (finishing my two weeks there) everyone smokes. A friend of mine tells me she has a connect for oil and shows me her pen. I smoked it, liked it, and made the decision a few weeks back to get myself one. She got me the cartridge for 70. Fell in love with it and showed the rest of the back kitchen crew. Chef is the first to go get himself a pen and winds up hitting up a guy that used to work with us. He has a connect getting legit medical grade cartridges with insane amounts of flavors. They're 60. Now, the other runner, two line cooks, Chef, and another co-worker on the front end are all walking around with wands like we're at Hogwarts on opium blazed out of our minds. Mind you, we're a high end Restaurant/Club/Bar, so the fact that everyone is walking around stoned out of our minds is quite hilarious cause the customers seem to have no idea. Edit: This is also my 2nd job/pt. I am not a failure.
lol i've always noticed people in the restaurant business or teachers love to get blazed (of course not during school time). so interesting.
Restaurant workers are FULL of stoners. Literally 90% of everyone I've worked with at like 5 different restaurants has smoked.
