Idk but I do know that in Denver rn oz prices are like anywhere from $80-150/160 which is still cheaper than what I pay (sometimes by a lot)
MA prices were outrageous but I was there in the first month of opening. CA prices were cheap in comparison.
I used to care about edibles, but since I've successfully made amazing budder a few times (even with not great weed), I don't really care about dispensary edibles anymore. I'd love to have more accurate dosing, but I feel like that's still an issue with store bought edibles too. I just want legality, and consistent access to high quality flower.
I know i could make them and I have before, but I don't always wanna spend an hour or two and have to smell up my house. I want the convenience of just buying some on the way home, haha.
do you have any good recipes, or any ideas on ratios of CBD to bud? I have some CBD isolate that I could easily add to my next batch of edibles, but I have no clue how much to use or how it would affect things really.
I wish that I did. Sorry. I just know that I prefer to take those when I'm in states where it's legalized.
Yeah, I get that, but if you make budder, it really doesn't smell up the house that bad and you can make a bunch at once (assuming you can afford the bud) and it will stay good for a long while in the freezer. Also, if you only have a small amount of weed/time/effort, you can make a firecracker, which taste terrible but always get me BLAAAAASTED off of like half a gram.
Yep, that's the main issue. I don't usually wanna buy an ounce and firecrackers taste terrible, haha. I want to swing into a dispensary and pop 3 delicious gummies and just have that be the end of it
Oh for sure, I totally get it. Don't get me wrong, if I could pop into the dispensary and grab edibles like that, I'd probably do it daily.
I'll have to do some research. I'm guessing the CBD just helps the high from getting "too intense" or making you paranoid or whatever? Just a more mellow time?
Yeah, i mean, i could buy an ounce and make butter but i know i won't have time for an edible every day so then i'd have to buy another ounce to smoke
yep. never get too stoned on it. cbd just helps me relax and feel good in general. helps with anxiety. never get the fear.
Anyone know how CBD "processes" in edibles? Like if I make cannabudder and put CBS isolate in it, when I eat it, does it take hours for the CBD to take effect, much like the THC would? Will the effects of the CBD last as long as the THC? Would there be much difference between making regular edibles and just taking some CBD isolate orally once they kick in, versus baking it into the edible? Any information/advice is appreciated.
Its basically the same as thc. Eating it will take some time to kick in, just like thc, but with butter your body should metabolize it more than just eating isolate alone which should make it more effective. You can expect a similar duration as well.
Folks: 1g of cured budder for $25 (75% thc) OR 1g of sauce for $33 (86% thc) I'm concerned the sauce will not work well in the vapcap but reviews say it will vape ALL the concentrates so idk
Same. I’m out of the country right now for a week visiting family and obviously weed is veryyyyyy illegal. Might have to do this when I get back
