Yeah it is what it is. I'm just really hoping it lives up to the hype now that they are choosing to build the anticipation like this.

 

Btw is it just me or does this thread feels very intimate for lack of a better word lol. Guess 30STM doesn't have a huge following on Chorus. I don't mind it though, it's better like this than being too big imo so it's all good.

 

I think it's their lack of any music activity after putting out a bad record that's made the thread so inactive. I think once they put new music out, good or bad there should be more traction here.

 

I agree. I think the bulid up is always grand for them now. Didn't they do something with space and Up in the Air?

it does seem like that. This place is kind of pretentious, not P4K pretentious but they just don't seem to fit the bill here. Lol

By some I mean a lot haha! Really good album. I've been blasting it a lot again recently. ABL is my favourite with TIW edging it into second place.

I don't think they have a huge following on here and it probably doesn't help they haven't released an album in quite some time. I'm happy the thread is starting to pick up steam again though!

 

Double post buuuut:

Reading reviews of Camp Mars.

There won't be a Camp Mars 2018 with them touring the new album. They are considering a Europe one with the fan base being strong there. A lot of fans were disappointed they practically copied and pasted the same set list. Apparently the new single is good from what people have heard. Although it's worth noting the single still wasn't done. They said the final (maybe?) mix was coming back to them Monday night. It seems they are scrambling to get it done.

The last bit has got my nervous. I'd imagine the label has put the hammer down to get this out with them being signed for two years without any traction. Although Jared has been busy doing movies in that time.

 

Definitely kinda lame that they didnt switch it up much the second night but tbh I can't say I'm surprised. They lack variety in their live set. Hopefully that will change once the new album comes out if it even comes out this year lol

 

I'm just really craving new material from them. Can't wait to hear the single but scrambling to finish it sounds a little sketchy. Hopefully it won't be apparent and sound rushed. Time will tell I guess.

 

Me too! Honestly I can't wait, I just hope it's good. I know a lot of bands get mixes back last minute but you never know. I think this has been their tightest album deadline thought for sure.

It seems so? I don't know if the single will be available on the 22nd and it's just going to radio on the 29th though.

 

This is what happened when the single was played to select fans. If I'm as happy as they are with the new song then it should be banger.

 

I feel like they're probably overhyping this a bit and it's gonna sound like a track from LLF+D lol... just a hunch, hoping I'm wrong.

 

It's funny because this seems sooooooo secondary now that BN has dropped their new album. Hyping up only one track. BN i guess if you count the cd (still hoping to get it!) it originally was one track too but 61 minutes lol

 

Yeah agreed. There's tons of great albums coming out in the next few weeks too, I'm honestly not that hyped for this unless it really blows me away. We'll see.

I too have a suspicion it might be a continuation of LLF+D but I'm hoping to be blown away. I'm still highly anticipating it.

 

I'm definitely curious and hoping for the best. For me LLF+D was kind of a watered-down This Is War, so I think it's time for a change. The continuation of the chants from TIW and LLF+D make me think it'll be more of the same, but maybe that's just their thing at this point haha
