A Beautiful Lie is my personal favourite too with a lot of nostalgia coming from it and of course it being a fantastic record. Similar to you I had just started college when that album and The Kill were blowing up everywhere. You've got some awesome stories there! I'd be so stoked to meet Jared one day. He's generally a great inspiration to me mainly down to his work ethic and how he constantly pushes boundaries.

30 Seconds to Mars Setlist at Woodland Hills Country Club, Malibu

Well hearing Riverbed was new for me but ya I think it will be tomorrow. He did allude to the fact that they were live streaming so they were not going to premiere new stuff on the live stream prob to make it more exclusive for people who are at Camp Mars. Announcement on Monday was definitely confirmed at the beginning. All in all this was a great fun show to watch. Hearing A Modern Myth and Stay was a real treat.

 

Also I loved that it was acoustic with a string quartet at the start then Jared solo for a few songs and then more full band and plugged in to finish it off. Didnt want it to end! Really fun set.

Can you rewatch it? It was on in the early hours here in the UK so there was not chance me watching it.

Jared posted on twitter a huge announcement is coming Monday so I can only expect the single/album really is coming!

 

Friend of mine is at Camp Mars this weekend. She's saying the new single is called Walk on Water and they're gonna play it live tonight (the 13th). Hope she's right!

 

Apparently there is a guy walking round with headphones giving people a listen to the new single too. Did your friend get chance to listen?

 

She did not. She just heard chatter from multiple people. Looks like it's happening pretty soon!

 

Apparently tomorrow we'll find out more. I'm stoked to finally hear the single!

Me and my gf would love to go to Camp Mars but it's a bit of a treck from the UK haha.

 

I also heard that as the title so its looking pretty good. Premiere today at Camp Mars and hopefully we get to hear it tomorrow. The announcement better not just be the announcement of another annoucement that is coming! Some real actual news would be nice for a change!

 

I really wish they were doing live from Camp Mars again tonight! I might have to finally go next year haha
