one of those takes you read that genuinely makes you wonder if this might be the only person in the world who feels this way lol
Forgot to mention someone in my theater gagged during the "shirt removal" scene. I think the only other time I've ever experienced that is when I saw Saw X
I do admit in this scene I did mostly look away from the movie screen while it was being shown. I did catch shots of the aftermath (I'm a very visual person), but yeah, bruuutal scene.
I don't typically seek gore out but it definitely doesn't usually get me at this point in my horror fandom, unless it's like, eyes or up-close vein stuff. This one was tough though. And sparse/"real" enough that even just the bit that we saw was harder for me than most of like, a Terrifier film or something sillier.
It was interesting to me that the worst violence in this movie came from the humans, not the infected lol
Went to the Bone Zone '28 Years Later: The Bone Temple' Review: I hate to say it, but each other's all we've got
Eh, eating brains isn't exactly suffering through graphic, prolonged medieval tortures lol. Plus we've been watching zombies eat brains for decades
This was awesome, great follow up to the first one. Everything with Kelson and Sampson was the best part for me. Had a big dumb smile on my face watching the Iron Maiden scene. Never expected to see something like that in these films.
If I can find an empty or near empty theater I'm gonna try to see this this weekend, but it's not showing up in EITHER my regal or the local chain theater near me for showtimes for this weekend. That's insane.
