This was WILD. Enjoyed this much more than the previous one. Boyle’s visual style just doesn’t work for me. Opening scene was such a statement of intent. The Jimmies and the family they found; ooff. The craziness of the final act. And the setting up of the final film. Great stuff
Probably going to have to wait until streaming sadly, but looking at showtimes and I'm shocked at how few showtimes this is getting per day in my local regal. But also I guess there's a ton of competition for showtimes. Tomorrow alone my local Regal has Spongebob, AVatar, Greenland 2, Zootopia 2, Marty Supreme, LOTR 25 year annviersray screening, Madagascar 20 anniversary screening, Anaconda, House Maid, and a couple others. Can't remember the last time I looked at showtimes in Regal and saw that many movies playing on one day.
saw people on reddit saying you can see Frank's taxi in this at the farmhouse so I guess that's actually the place from Days not Weeks? I don't remember a farmhouse in the first movie but it's been a minute since I watched
I saw 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple in the cinema earlier on and it was brilliant and god damn I hope the final part of this trilogy gets made!!
Wait, are people dressing up as Jimmy/Jimmy to go see the movie or are you talking about the characters?
Oh yeah if people are dressing up like him to go see the movie that’s bad. I thought you meant the characters in the movie.
I haven't watched Bone Temple yet. But I just watched the first 28 Years last night on VOD rental. Good movie. Scary. Nice editing and cinematography.
