I think in most cases it’s wild to think a studio would admit it was their fault in marketing it/setting the wrong release date, rather than think they would not move forward with a sequel when something doesn’t perform at the box office.
Once again, it's not the worry, it was that nearly everyone was like "it's never coming out" at least everywhere I saw online
