An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

fuck it we watching Days on a cracked phone screen in the dark as Boyle intended

I love how we went from "you know why this is a shit idea, because it's so obviously a shit idea" to Jim teaching his daughter the finer points of politics. character growth right there

Kelson was living in a cultural dream where Kid A is the last album and Morrissey doesn't suck yet

rewatched Years tonight and I still think it's a little too hit and miss to top Temple or Days for me, but there's some wild shit in that movie for sure. some of those shots/edits it's genuinely insane to see in what is technically a big budget franchise film

keeping with the positives I think that scene where Spike and Isla see the angel is the best scene in any of these movies, just flawless writing, acting and directing. "How many hundreds of years have we fallen this time? Is it thousands or more?" hits me in my fucking soul man

This was spectacular in so many different ways. Best time at the movies I can remember for a long time

This was fine, nowhere near as good as any of the other entries. I don't understand the resounding praise for it. It was entertaining but that's all I got from it. The first one had way more heart.

You’re crazy if you think weeks is better than this lol

  10. The first one has more heart than most horror films ever so that's a pretty high bar imo. Dr. Kelson 's compassion for Sampson in this is full of heart, as is Spikes reluctance to torture and kill

Only have seen Days but my friend recommended this so I caught a matinee showing and wow did I get boned so hard. I can't stop thinking about this movie. Definitely one of my favorites I've seen in years

I found a dvd widescreen special edition copy of 28 Days Later tonight but didn’t buy it lol. Maybe if it was still impossible to watch outside of already having a physical copy

Just got Boned. Don’t want to leave the theater because I’m basking in the glory of the OG theme song in the credits

Well it does get a shout out in the beginning of Years iirc, and theoretically could connect to something we saw happen in the Bone Temple….

Weeks is the worse movie out of the 4 but it’s not some terrible thing lol. It’s a decent action zombie movie that just didn’t live up to the hype of the first one.

It does have my favorite opening scene out of the 4 too….
