Didn't care for the previous film, but this one looks wild(er), so will still see opening day.

  11. Trailer rocks, and as much as I liked/didn't necessarily love DaCosta's Candyman, I have faith in her. Will this be a rare January movie W??

Looks amazing. Isn't Jim supposed to be in this? I guess I shouldn't be surprised they didn't put him in the first trailer if he is.

Sampson looked kinda human still in that one shot of him screaming, maybe they just haven't added the red to the eyes yet in post production or whatever.

Sadly not gonna see this in theaters since it'll probably be a big covid surge at the time, but gonna buy it immediately when it hits VOD or a streamer

  15. Yeah, post-holiday season is tough. I try to go to really weird showings with light attendance where I can grab a corner to myself and mask up if necessary. Worked for Nosferatu, at least.

Yeah, I’ve been avoiding the theater if it looks like it’ll be busy. Normally I’d mask up, but then I wouldn’t be able to eat popcorn, which I’d be thinking about the whole time.

Not too excited about the tracksuit cult having a huge focus, but I liked 28 years later so I'll see where the story goes.

Give me all the tracksuit cult, personally. Seems unlikely after the trailer, but I’d love if the movie matched the campy tone of their intro at the end of Years, lol

hey the vibes of the trailers for the first movie didn't quite convey the actual tone, so who knows

  21. You would rather just have them show up like that at the end of the first movie with zero payoff in the follow-up? Lol

No I don't mind continuing following those characters, but I didn't expect them to be as heavily focused as the trailer would suggest.

not as good as the footage in the trailer for this 28YL but it looks maybe more fun

  25. First 28YL trailer is legitimately so good that it feels unfair to compare. Hype was through the roof with that one. This one too, for me anyways, but it hits different with the first one behind us
