This is like the opposite of Speak No Evil trailer. I will gladly watch this before every movie.

 

For franchise films next year this immediately jumped from "eh I will wait for vod" to will see in theatres first week.

I tried downloading it but it was just SOAD-legend of Zelda again

 

I wonder when it got taken off streaming. I remember watching it on a streamer sometime in the last 5 years.

I didn’t until everyone ran with it as fact. So I gave in and fell for it.

there's just no way they bring back someone as big as CM for a cameo as a dead guy, it's just not feasible lol

my guess right now is 28YL mainly follows the new characters with a brief aside to Cillian and then the Bone Temple movie shows us what he was doing the whole time

 

My theory was that it was a red herring. He was severely emaciated and starving, but not actually dead lol

 

A lot of the clickbait Instagram accounts I follow posted that screen shot of the trailer claiming it was Cillian Murphy so I think that's where it spread. They didn't even say 'fans think', it was just that he returns as a zombie in the next installment. I don't know what the root of the rumor was though.

If you look at videos reviewing the trailer on YouTube I would say about 75% have that zombie people thought was CM as the thumbnail, so I would say a lot of people fell for it.
