The Vikings select Dillon Thieneman, Safety, Oregon. Flores gets a rangey safety that can cover their ass while they blitz their life away
Carolina Panthers select CJ Allen, LB, Georgia Devin Lloyd + CJ Allen would be quite the upgrade at ILB, our weakest position on the team last year. The way the board fell, I think this pick would make the biggest impact based on our current roster build. Allen is awesome. Scourton - Allen - Lloyd - Phillips could be something
Steelers select Denzel Boston, WR, Washington Even with the addition of Michael Pittman Jr., the Steelers WR room isn't great. DK is solid, but McCarthy is going to want more receivers, and I think Boston is a nice pick-up here.
The Browns select Spencer Fano, OL, Utah Plethora of oline options here for the Browns. A lot of these guys really seem to be relatively rated the same so I’m sure I’m picking the wrong one.
Adding some thoughts for context: I hate this idea a lot. But it seems inevitable at this point so I want to run the scenario at least. I feel better with it being focused on 2027 capital, even if that class is reportedly stronger. I’m trying to maximize rookie contract Drake Maye. AJ Brown Romeo Doubs Kayshon Boutte Demario Douglas Kyle Williams Mack Hollins is a pretty decent room and it still leaves me my 3 top-100 picks to bolster the rest of the team.
I feel like basing it off the Metcalf offer makes more sense than the Waddle one. He’s approaching 29, declining, has attitude issues, and clearly no one else wants him or he’d be gone. I think Vrabel holds firm on not giving up a 1st.
The board falls wonderfully and the Chicago Bears select Emmanuel McNeil Warren, S, Toledo @JRShoenberger bills
