With the third overall pick, the Arizona Cardinals select Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State The biggest problem I see with the Cardinals is that they have absolutely no identity. Just a listless franchise going nowhere. Styles is a start towards correcting that. GM Dave has decided they’re going to feature a defense, pairing with Budda Baker, that emphasizes speed, athleticism and versatility.
Every year I have a LB or two that I develop a draft crush on. Sonny Styles is the one. This is not a crush. This is draft love.
The New York Giants select Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame The Giants go BPA and add a home run hitter to an offense that needs options if the QB is going to keep concussing himself. Love and Cam Skattebo combine to make a really fun backfield. I also don't believe Harbaugh cares about WR2, I've seen enough of the Ravens to know Tate isn't going to be the pick lol
I'll tell ya honestly, the Love pick came from the "Draft Dudes" podcast where they said they felt he goes to the Titans but his floor is 5 with the Giants lol
With the sixth overall pick the Cleveland Browns select Carnell Tate, WR, THE Ohio State University Cleveland has done some work this offseason to address their o-line needs and with no clear cut LT prospect available they pivot to second biggest need WR. Tate is a polished, technically sound receiver who wins with precision, body control, and an understanding of coverage structures.
I'd go Downs but I did that the first time so wanna mix it up/wasn't there some concern about his knee at the combine/
Washington Commies select David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech Commies have added a good amount of talent to their defense. Bailey is still the best pick for them here.
the giants are not in a position of comfort where they can just add new toys. they desperately need depth on the OL and a nicer looking secondary would be nice. taking the 5th overall pick and spending it on a running back is going to make my eye twitch.
