Wonderful band. Have you ever heard the Ocean City MD metal band Full Of Hell? Apparently Converge loves them and took them on tour once, I was introduced by someone I met recently. And they do a lot of collabs, I just listened to their collab EP with Nothing it’s sick (although surprisingly leans more slowcore / shoegaze than metal, I would’ve thought it would be more Full of Hell and less Nothing inspired)

 

I was like Ocean City?????? Since when does that town have anything other than Tom Petty and Sugar Ray style cover bands lol

 

Still haven't gotten the all clear for the background check

They had originally given me a 6/1 start date pending the background check, and now they're going to push it back to 6/15 cause they don't start anyone mid pay-period, so I can't do 6/8 (and even that date would be in jeopardy if the background check isn't done by this Friday).

Lol they already told me the criminal check came back and it's fine, we're still waiting on employment verification. I've given them two different contacts for my old job and I'm not sure if either of them have done shit, and for my current job I told them do not contact them, and gave them my phone number (I had to put something it was a required field), so I told them I can provide paystubs/W2's and they won't accept that until whatever third party company they use has "exhausted all other options", which means they're going to dick around for two weeks and come back to me asking for the shit I've already offered to give them
