Gonna be honest here, the plan was Conerly, and this is kinda what I was exploring with this mock of “is it worth risking not taking Campbell or Membou at 1.4” so this kinda became the worst case scenario of that universe. Which…isn’t that bad of a scenario?

Ersery’s got the right build and a solid athletic profile, and projects well in a McDaniels offense from what I’ve read.

Joe Marino and Kyle Crabbs being so split on him made me really weigh him vs. another pick but this is where we land.

I like how this mock is playing out because I think, similar to last year, we’re gonna have a case where the players who have any shot at sticking at OT go near the top of their respective range and it’ll hit a point after this where teams have to decide whether to reach to fill the position or risk not filling it this draft
