Cincinnati Bengals select Kelvin Banks, IOL, Texas The Bengals defense was shit last year. It wasn't the year before with mostly the same players. Theyve got problems and holes to fill on defense but you could make the argument that their young players deserve a shot under Golden. You know what though? If I have to watch Cordell fucking Volson play one more snap I'm going to [HEAVILY redacted]. The Bengals want to go all in on their identity? The OL has to improve.
Broncos select: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama Alex Singleton is a great leader but he's old as shit and could be cut this season. Campbell could be the guy paired up with Dre Greenlaw
Pittsburgh selects Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan. Keanu Benton - Kenneth Grant - Cam Heyward, baby we got a stew goin'.
Sorry, I came to post my pick earlier, then didn’t. Los Angeles Chargers select James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee
Oh, I owe write ups Okay, so this one feels a bit out-of-the-box but I'm viewing it as a reward for a tremendously productive offseason. Their line is in such a better place than it was when they gave up 9 sacks to the New England Patriots. If they hadn't done some work there this would have been OL all day, but at 10 I don't really love the OL that were left, and Jeunty was gone too. So instead, I give Ben Johnson 3 tremendous weapons paired with a hopefully much better protected Caleb Williams. It's also an acknowledgement a bit of DJ Moore's age and Keenan Allen being a free agent. They need a CB and I think Will Johnson is going to end up being really good. To get him outside of the top-10 was just an opportunity I had to snag. I tried for Aiyuk but Tkam wasn't biting. Deebo and Metcalf are gone, Higgins isn't getting moved. The WR market is ROUGH. So I expanded the goal to be "weapon." I can't think of many people I trust more to get the absolute most out of Kyle Pitts than Josh McDaniels. Him and Hunter Henry are also very different tight ends who I think can compliment one another. The offense isn't good, but it's better with Pitts, Membou, Morgan Moses and Mack Hollins.
I understood it as “Adding Tet McMillan to a WR room with Rome Odunze is an embarrassment of Large, Highly Drafted WR riches”
