Cardinals: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State Alfred Collins, DT, Texas Ozzy Trapilo, OT, Boston College Nohl Williams, CB, Cal Seahawks: Tyler Booker, IOL, Alabama Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss Tate Ratledge, IOL, Georgia Jared Ivey, EDGE, Ole Miss Jaylin Noel, WR, Iowa State Kyle McCord, QB, Syracuse Chargers: James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee Harold Fannin Jr, TE, Bowling Green TJ Sanders, DT, South Carolina Oluwafemi Oladejo. EDGE, UCLA Ravens: Grey Zabel, OL, North Dakota State Xavier Rastrepo, WR, Miami JJ Pegues, DT/FB, Ole Miss Malachi Moore, S, Alabama Ollie Gordon III, RB, Oklahoma State Strongest draft: Seattle. I really like the additions on OL and WR for the Seahawks. It’s a pretty big turnover as a whole for the offense, but they’re a well-coached team imo and I think after a few weeks they would start to gel and look dangerous with this group. Weakest draft: Baltimore. I don’t hate how it ended up. I think it’s fine. But just not very exciting.
I like your Arizona the best. Feel like there’s a lot of scenarios where that team looks really good going into next year if they have a solid draft. Baltimore also my least favorite - Restrepo in the second is a couple rounds too expensive for my liking
Colts: Javon Walker Mason Taylor Jared Wilson Connor Colby Packers: Mykel Williams Maxwell Hairston Isaiah Bond Jalen Travis Texans: Josh Simmons Carson Schwesinger Shemar Turner Bradyn Swinson Lions: Mike Green Jonah Savaiinaea Danny Stutsman CJ West Colts and Packers both get As in my book just because of the first round pick. Texans are probably my least favorite just because they went out and addressed both needs I drafted for in the first two rounds since this mock, but the players and value are fine there.
49ers select Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Virginia Tech Wouldn't be a 49ers draft if they didn't take a mid round RB.. at least this one was actually productive in college! 49ers draft: R1 - Shemar Stewart, Edge, Texas A&M R2 - Donovan Jackson, OL, Ohio State R3 - Omarr Norman-Lott, DL, Tennessee R3 - Ty Robinson, DL, Nebraska R4 - Emery Jones Jr, OL, LSU R4 - Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Virginia Tech
Broncos R1 Jihaad Campbell, LB, Bama R2 Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State R3 Terrance Ferguson, TE, Oregon R4 Vernon Broughton, DL, Texas I give it anywhere between an F and an A+
Patriots: Traded for Kyle Pitts Armand Membou Jayden Higgins Dylan Sampson Willie Lampkin Bears: Tetairora McMillan Darius Alexander Trey Amos Cam Skattebo Cowboys: Will Johnson Jack Bech Jordan James Really love the Pats and Bears hauls. Cowboys are meh.
I’m gonna ask the thread to play a new game as we round up mocks. Three up, three down. Give the three teams who are leaving draft day with momentum or feeling like they answered a lot of questions, and the three teams that left you curious or still looking for answers in their plan.
Ideally with a little bit of reason why. (I think this may help me better gauge how people without my biases are viewing certain needs/fits/players I’m not just farming for compliments lol)
Pittsburgh Steelers: 1. Kenneth Grant, IDL, Michigan 2. [DK Metcalf] 3. Devin Neal, RB, Kansas 4. Will Howard, QB, Ohio State New Orleans Saints: 1. Will Campbell, OT, LSU 2. TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State 3. Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss 3. Mitchell Evans, TE, Notre Dame 4. Kobe King, LB, Penn State 4. Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State
Doing that on mobile is rough. I’ll try to do my other teams later. My Pittsburgh draft is fine. Not having a second rounder is kinda a drag, but getting DLine starter and a workhorse back is probably my best case scenario for our first two picks.
I also really like my Saints draft. Their whole roster is pretty rough, and they got some studs on all levels of the field. Jaxon Dart in the 3rd also feels really nice.
(leaving my teams off all lists) UP: Jaguars - Got Travis Hunter for just some minor jockeying on lower pick order. The rest is all detail (although Harmon is also an awesome pick) Jets - Love the fit of Graham in NY; overall boring draft that’s exactly what they need after the flashy Aaron Rodgers debacle Bills - Thomas/Walker/Kennard is my favorite haul of Day 2 and early Day 3 picks for the value. I’m not huge on Golden as a prospect, but dropping him in Josh Allen’s offense would make me SO much more excited about him DOWN: Giants - Shedeur over Travis Hunter is a decision these hypothetical Giants will likely regret. Pick makes even less sense in hindsight now that they have Russ in place to be a boring stopgap Raiders - I get the “give Pete Carroll his bell cow RB” angle, but I think this is the wrong roster to spend a luxury pick on a RB given how bad the roster still is on paper and their penchant for trading away picks Panthers - I like their free agency period if they use it as a supplement to a very defense heavy draft, but I strongly dislike it if they say they addressed the front 7 and don’t touch it again until late day 2
